Biography, An award winning photographer and designer, Maxim Maximov has more than twelve years of professional experience in the advertising field. Born in Russia in 1975 and inspired by his father, a commercial artist and designer, Maximov began to express himself through photography at age fifteen. While pursuing his studies at the Moscow Academy of Photography, he worked with accomplished professional photographers in numerous studios. As he served in the Russian Army, Maximov continued to utilize his technical knowledge to produce specialized military photography. At age twenty-one he expanded his talent in the advertising field and blossomed into an extraordinary commercial photographer / designer. Seeking to enhance his knowledge of the visual arts, in 2000, Maximov left Moscow and came to New York where art enthusiasts and connoisseurs honored him with awards in photography, graphic design, and fine arts. Quickly adapting to and successfully exploring the innovative era of digital photography, three dimensional art, and creative retouching, Maximov is breaking boundaries in creative imagery and concept.
